Known as the chasen, this bamboo whisk is used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies to prepare frothy, foamy and lump-free matcha. It is made with strong and sturdy natural bamboo material.
Inspired by the tea culture in Japan, Oh Cha Matcha is a homegrown artisanal matcha green tea specialist bringing in premium matcha powder sourced and flown in from Uji in Kyoto, Japan.
After every use, rinse with cold water (without soap!) and place it standing upright with tines facing up in a well-ventilated area.
With each use, the outer tips and twisted centre of the whisk will slowly unfurl but don't worry, this is a natural process known as 'blooming'.
